K’idar’s Bio

Tenor K’idar Miller is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music, having studied under Maitland Peters.

Credits include MSM productions of Die Zauberflöte (Monostatos) and Handel’s Samson (Samson), as well as Opportunity Makes the Thief (Alberto) with the Little Opera Theater of NY, and Amahl and the Night Visitors (King Kaspar) with St. Anastasia Performance Series.

Scene work includes Cosi fan tutte (Ferrando) with Tuscia Opera Festival and Frederick Douglass (Ned) with Opera Ebony.

Concert work includes the chorus of Kathleen Battle's Metropolitan Opera recital, "Underground Railroad: A Spiritual Journey,” and Opera Ebony's No Cowards in our Band, a narrative concert based on the life of Frederick Douglass.

Mr. Miller makes his Syracuse Opera debut this October singing the role of Le Remendado in Bizet's Carmen.
